Aventra provides guided experiences and local tour services only and is not a licensed travel agency or tour operator under Japanese travel industry regulations.

Aventra’s services are limited to guiding, local assistance, and itinerary suggestions.
We do not arrange, book, sell, or act as an agent for accommodations, transportation, restaurants, tickets, or other travel services.

Third-Party Services

Any restaurants, facilities, transportation providers, or other third-party services used during a tour are operated and managed by their respective providers.
Aventra assumes no responsibility or liability for the quality, safety, availability, or actions of such third-party services.

Weather, Natural Disasters, and Force Majeure

Aventra shall not be held responsible for delays, changes, cancellations, injuries, or losses caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, facility closures, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Safety and Personal Responsibility

Participation in tours is at the guest’s own risk and discretion.
While guides make reasonable efforts to ensure safety, all risks associated with outdoor activities, walking, and travel cannot be completely eliminated.

Limitation of Liability

Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, Aventra shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in our tours.

This Legal Disclaimer may be updated or modified at any time without prior notice.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Because all Aventra tours are private and customized, cancellations and refunds are handled according to the policy below.

Cancellations by the Guest

  • More than 7 days before the tour date
    → Full refund (100%), excluding payment processing fees.

  • 3–6 days before the tour date
    → 50% refund, excluding payment processing fees.

  • Within 48 hours of the tour date or no-show
    → No refund.

Custom & Special Arrangements

Tours that include special reservations, tickets, transportation, or other third-party services may involve non-refundable costs.
These costs will be clearly communicated in advance and deducted from any applicable refund.

Payment Processing Fees

All payments are processed via PayPal.
Payment processing fees are non-refundable, even in cases of cancellation or partial refund.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on PayPal and your card provider.

Weather Policy

Tours operate rain or shine.
Cancellations due to weather are only eligible for a refund or reschedule when conditions are deemed unsafe by Aventra or the assigned guide.

Light rain, cold weather, or cloudy conditions do not qualify for refunds.

In cases of severe weather, natural disasters, or safety concerns, Aventra will offer:

  • A free reschedule, or

  • A full refund, excluding payment processing fees.

Cancellations by Aventra or the Guide

If a tour is canceled by Aventra or the assigned guide due to unforeseen circumstances (including illness, safety concerns, or extreme weather), guests will receive:

  • A full refund, excluding payment processing fees, or

  • The option to reschedule the tour at no additional cost.

How to Request a Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through the booking platform used.
Cancellation timing is based on Japan Standard Time (JST).
